October 2025

Welcome to my website. Thank you for joining me here. I was a psychologist, now I am a painter thanks to my MA and MFA at the Manchester School of Art.

What a year this has been for me, and it hasn’t ended yet! It began with the Fusion Art Fair in Yorkshire. A great experience, organising my stand, connecting with fellow artists, and having the opportunity to discuss my work with the many people at the fair. And selling paintings…

At the time my paintings were on bill boards in the London Underground with a show at the AdLib Gallery in Wimbledon. Then on to two shows at the lovely Brick Lane Gallery in London, and further art fair experience at The Other Art Fair at Truman’s Brewery in London in October. And now preparing for the Manchester Art Fair in November.

And breathe!

Looking forward to next year with lots already in the pipeline. I am honoured to be asked to lend a painting (the blue trees) to the wonderful charity, James’ Place, where it will hang in the therapy area in their new premises in Birmingham.

This painting has also spent time in the London Underground at Regents Park station, and has hopefully engaged many travellers.

This painting was chosen as it expresses calm and stillness through colour and the expressionist landscapes invite you in. But like much of my work, it is also about strength and resilience. I have found that my past career merges with my new one!
